Your Humble Servant

Although I’m still inside the “mainstream” church, my brand of Christianity is quite “outside the camp,” where I am liberal/mystical/non-literal.  I am “dangerous” because those things I believe may be considered as such by those in the mainstream.  I choose not to adhere to the “fundigelical” strain of Christianity, which has done more to harm Christ instead of glorifying him.

I am a married, African-American who live in “God’s Country” (the Newark, NJ/NYC metro area).  I am artistic and love the outdoors.  I love good music and good times (yes I love a mean party).  I believe that life is to be enjoyed as a gift from God-not to be viewed ascetically as some Christians do.

A lot of my viewpoints can be found in the post, “Bad ol’ Christian”; thus giving you an outline who you’re reading.

Thanks for the link to Christian Mystics, and I wanted to invite you to go take a look at the blog entry today on The War and the Christian Mystic. I hope you find it of interest.

Again, I appreciate your help and your presence on the web.

Best,

Brian Robertson

Hi there!,

Just an update that you will probably want to remove me from your blogroll list as I have finally decided to move out of the Christian camp altogether.

Peace,
Jon

No way dude!

I need other voices as well in the dialogue. Keeps it dangerous.

May your new path lead you to the truth you’re seeking.

Peace!
