Please Stand By…

20 02 2008

I’m still in transit at this moment, kind of like everyone else at this moment: Kosovo, Cuba, Obama & McCain, etc…

I feel my spirit being tugged in a zillion directions as God is growing me up so to say.

Hopefully, He will direct me on this blog.  You see, I was ready to leave the blogosphere but God said “Not now”.

So, as they used to say in The Outer Limits, “please stand by…”

Peace!

Happy Lent!

12 02 2008

Hi Family!

I’m still alive and doing well.  I’ve just been busy with work and a (soon to be) new arrival to my family.  Plus, I’m doing some good ol’ fashioned soul-searching during Lent.

Thanx to some funding (no not the “Faith Based Initiative” plan), we’re rennovating this blog during the Lenten season.  I hope to be back up & running soon enough.

Until then, God bless during the Lenten season and His/Her Peace upon you.

The Show So Far…

30 10 2007

Hi and Happy Mischief Night!

I’ve been a busy fellow these last few weeks.  I finished that book I mentioned in “What If?”, The World Without Us.   Was very good finish and very thought provoking.  I also enjoyed some family time and was busy with one of our local arts organizations (see below).

I also have to say both “goodbye” and “hello”.  Mystery of Iniquity is no longer blogging and will be missed.  Therefore I removed her link from my blogroll.  On the other hand, I have two new links to add.  The first is from The Center for Progressive Christianity-an American version of Sea of Faith (UK).  The second is the Newark (NJ) Arts Council, a local arts organization up here in God’s Country.

I also haven’t heard from (or read) Grace’s posts at The Phoenix Effect.  Is my sister still blogging?  Hope all’s well on her end.

Well that’s it for the moment.  Now for my next post…

A Change In Plans

16 08 2007

Originally a new blog was to be hatched about now.  However, our budget department decided that resources would be better spent “upgrading” the present (and successful) blog.

As you will see, our R&D department has decided on a visual transformation-hope you like it.  Our art department is also allowing space for my work, which at times, will hopefully serve as a post’s theme.  Since God empowered me to photograph (and a nod to Pastor of Disaster’s suggestion), I’ll include my work.

But most important, my mission through this blog is unchanged.

This is not so much construction as in enhancement…hey, I like that word…enhancement!

Peace and happy Thursday!

Under Construction…

4 08 2007

Good Evening…

If you hear any hammering and construction machinery going on, that’s me working on a new blog.  I’m keepin’ it “top secret” until its soon-to-be unveiling.  So if I’m disturbing anyone’s nap time, a thousand pardons please.

I’ll also sound the alarm if I have to do any blasting!

Peace!

Obscure Facts About Me & A Farewell

17 07 2007

This was supposed to be out about a month ago.  Please pardon the long delay, I’ve been handling other issues at the moment.

Pastorofdisaster tagged me so now I’m “it”.  Although I believe the game of tag’s over, here are my “facts.”

  1. I’m a photography nut.
  2. I love to hike and trail run.
  3. I’m both a Star Trek and Prisoner head.
  4. In 1991, I met both Jackie Mason and Paul Schaeffer in two different parts of Manhattan, on the same day.
  5. I one time played the clarinet in elementary school and tried piano in college.
  6. I wanted to be an astronaut when I was a kid.
  7. I was an ROTC cadet in college.
  8. I met Jesse Jackson during his 1984 presidential campaign in Newark, NJ.  I even took some photos!

Unfortunately, anyone who I could’ve tagged were already tagged.

I also want to give a shout to my buddy, Grace of The 13Graces.  She’s no longer blogging but leaving her posts up for us to read and be inspired.  Much peace and namaste!

‘Til next time, peace!  Oh don’t worry, I’ll still be around.
